Kim and Matt said ‘I do!’ at Bowood Hotel Spa and Golf Resort in front of friends and family who had gathered from all across the world to celebrate. Kim and her bridesmaids spent the morning at Queenswood Lodge nestled in the rolling landscape of the golf course, sipping prosecco, laughing and smiling, and of course getting dressed up for the special day ahead! Kim and her girls were the picture of elegance, and even I had to blink back a tear or two when she came downstairs in her dress to greet her father. Those are the moments we never forget!

Across the grounds at the hotel, Matt and his groomsmen were exchanging gifts and clinked their shot glasses of Jameson to the day ahead. Pocket squares and buttonholes in place, they made their way to join the arriving guests in good time for the ceremony. Maybe in too good time, as Matt stood at the top of the aisle waiting for his wife-to-be, glancing now and again at his watch. But I saw first hand the appeal of running fashionably late; Matt’s reaction when Kim did arrive was one of the sweetest I’ve seen – he looked positively giddy. 🙂

Later we took the couple outside to capture shots of them in the sunshine before some quickly appearing clouds opened, the thunder rumbled in the distance, and we took refuge briefly under the trees. Kim and Matt were absolute legends as we danced about them getting as much footage as we could, and they didn’t complain about the conditions in the slightest – I’m sure they’ll agree that it was worth it!

After some lovely speeches, the couple practiced their first dance on the lawn at twilight, while a soft mist rolled by in the distance. These guys had the best of nature’s backdrops!

Check out the highlights of their gorgeous day below.
