Danielle and Kerry said “I do!” at Stone Barn in March – and ’twas a gorgeous Spring day for the occasion!

The Morning

In the morning, Danielle and her bridesmaids and mum were all smiles and giggles at Barnsley House. They entertained everyone with a few select hen party stories and reminiscing about their school days as the prosecco flowed, and the final touches of hair and makeup. Siobhan and I captured all the details and sweet moments as the ceremony grew closer. Look out for some swoon-worthy Jimmy Choo heels and gorgeous bouquets by Go Wild Flowers. An hour later, we were with the fellas over at a nearby hotel as they struggled with their bowties. Most groomsmen do – they do look baffling! I’ve attempted to master it myself but to no avail 😂. They put on their suspenders and shiny shoes, before they settled Kerry’s nerves at the bar with a pint.

Ceremony

Danielle and her dad arrived for the ceremony in a vintage burgundy Jaguar Daimler, which held a special importance for them both. I’m not usually a car person, but this one was a beauty!

One of my favourite moments of a wedding day is catching the groom’s anticipation before the bride arrives, but especially his face when he watches her coming down the aisle. It’s always a touching moment, and Kerry’s reaction did not disappoint. Ah, love! It makes everyone else in the room disappear.

Reception

As wedding guests mingled and sipped drinks inside the barn, we stole the couple away for a few quiet minutes. The laughter didn’t stop as we captured moments between the two, chatting about their mornings and practicing their first dance.

The speeches got under way, and once the sun had set it was time for sparklers! Pro tip – sparklers don’t always have to be as an exit from the party. We got some great footage of Danielle, Kerry and their guests after just a few minutes outside, before the glitter artist got everyone glammed up and the crowd hit the dance floor.✨

I had a truly wonderful day working alongside Siobhan as the photographer (dream team!). It was a pleasure to meet you D & K and we wish you all the happiness in your future together! We hope your films bring smiles to your faces for many years to come!
