Vicki and Ravi had their wedding day at Macdonald Kilhey Court back in May and it was a fantastic blend of Irish and Indian traditions, food and dancing!

We arrivd to capture all the guests arrving for the civil ceremony, and there was lots of excitement in the air 🙂 Vicki’s aunt sang a beautiful rendition of the traditional Irish folk song ‘She Moved Through The Fair’ while she walked down the aisle. Super small world fact; Vicki and her family had spent many summers staying in Donegal in Ireland where we grew up! It was great to hear so many familiar accents throuhout the day and got chatting to a few guests about local familiar pubs.

After the ceremony, we gathered for some confetti and then Vicki & Ravi both went to get ready into their outfits for the second part of the day, the Hindu ceremony. With so much colourful sari’s and dresses, the traditional drummers and musicians turned up and played while Ravi rode on a horse to meet Vicki’s family. We found it so fasinaticing capturing their ceremony, and there were some lovely words of wisdom by Kesri, their priest.

They ended the night by dancing to a mix of music, indian dancing and a jig to the ‘Irish Rover’ 😍 Thank you both for having us along, it was great to meet everyone and be part of your day!

Below is their highlight film, which we hope you enjoy 🙂
